Pierre Moncuit "Delos" Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
- The Moncuit family can trace their origins as grape growers in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger to the end of the 19th century. Since 1977, sister-brother duo Nicole and Yves Moncuit have shared the responsibilities of managing the estate.
- Moncuit Champagnes, including the NV bottlings, are always produced from a single vintage, in an effort to more precisely express the characteristics of the individual growing season.
- These are quintessential examples of Blanc de Blancs Champagne, with racy, mineral-laden palates, and youthful fruit expressions that makes them wines to enjoy right out of the blocks and for years to come.
"The NV (2020) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Delos Grand Cru is powerful and tightly wound, which suggests it will benefit from 6-12 months in bottle. Citrus, white flowers, mint, chalk and white pepper open with some coaxing. There's fine energy and plenty of drive to match. This is a terrific wine, especially for the year. Dosage is 3.0 grams per liter. Disgorged: March 2024." - Vinous
