Jaimee Motley Cabernet Sauvignon "Peter Martin Ray Vineyard" 2021
Jaimee’s career in wine began on the restaurant floor—most notably at San Francisco’s RN74, a wine bar that defined a generation (of wine professionals and wine drinkers alike) and a space in which many of today’s prominent voices in wine were first cultivated under Rajat Parr. Her studies continued in harvest-time cellars of both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and in 2015, she began working as an assistant winemaker at Pax Wine Cellars. She's now sourcing fruit from some of California's heritage vineyard sites.
Her wines are thought-provoking and joyful, and strong nods to the pioneering spirit of California wine. The Peter Martin Ray vineyard sits at nearly 2,000 feet of elevation, and yields some of the westcoast's most compelling renditions of Cabernet Sauvingon. Concentrated and layered, with tension and savory complexity. It's a treat for any Cabernet enthusiast.
