All grapes have a chance to shine. Zin is one of our few Californian highlights. Rock on and represent. PLUS, this fruit hails from an incredible dry farmed organic vineyard tucked away into the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. If terroir exists, taste it here.

Grape (2023): 100% Zinfandel

Vineyard: Madani-Zayante vineyard, Santa Cruz Mountains. Organically farmed and dry farmed.

Making of (2023): Grapes are placed 50% whole cluster and 50% destemmed into a French
oak cuve, where they macerate for 15 days with daily gentle pump overs. The wine is pressed and aged for
10 months sur lie in neutral French oak barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with nothing added.

Personality (2023): “A garnet ruby color in glass. Piercing aromas of raspberry, beeswax, and black pepper. A tart but juicy palate showing elegance and restraint. A very versatile wine that can be enjoyed at almost any opportunity. Bright enough for a lunch, but serious enough for dimly lit late night conversations.”
