Inspiration

Stardrops is the little sister to the Moonmilk cuvée. While this new cuvée shares many of Moonmilk’s esteemed qualities, a shorter élevage and exclusively neutral French oak differentiate the two. The Monarch butterfly represents Santa Cruz and the emblem of metamorphosis. 

Expression

A pale yellow in glass with aromas of fresh cut hay, apples, and citrus. A brisk acidity keeps the wine lively and is signature of this mountain grown fruit. A long finish with brioche and citrus. This wine will accompany a variety of meals but will excel alongside seafood dishes, brown butter sage pastas, and cream sauces. 12.7% ABV
