Cyril & Jean-Mi Rouge 2024

Jean Mi has been running the cave coop like the old days, vignerons-owned operation producing very standard wines for various markets. This said, Jean had always been interested in exploring a more natural approach in vinification, so with Cyril overseeing all aspects in the cellar, they vinified equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah separately, macerated for 10/11 days, entirely sans souffre, then blended in cement and settled in stainless vats before bottling. 

It's a super satisfying, medium bodied, rustic yet approachable red with lots of charm and undisputed quality. A new fave for a simple roast bird and potatoes.
