Coutier Brut Rosé
About the wine:
85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir (still red wine)
100% estate-fruit from Ambonnay, one of the largest Grand Cru villages. Vineyards in Ambonnay face due south and produce a warmer microclimate for the grapes. Ambonnay soils have more clay, coupled with the strong influence of chalky limestone. 2015 base vintage, with some reserve from previous vintages.
Stainless steel; 100% malolactic.
7.5 gr/l dosage Disgorgement: May 2017
Coutier's assemblage rose is made with 15% still red Pinot Noir, blended with 85% Chardonnay. It is a beautifully crafted and offers up gorgeous signature notes of red fruit, brioche and the complex soil tones of Ambonnay fruit.
