Essentially this begins its life as a piquette which was then dolloped with some local herbs, including California black sage in addition to lemons from a historic ranch near Santa Barbara. The result is a 5.5% alcohol, dark-rosé spritzer that is both herbal and fruity, with tart notes of cherry and rhubarb.
