Adega Algueira Mencia 2021

One of Ribeira Sacra's superstars is Adega Algueira which is run by the super passionate father-son team of Fernando and Fabio Algueira. The vineyards are located in the Armandi Subzone of the appellation, generally considered the best and most consistent for growing the region's indigenous varieties.

All estate owned vineyards on pure schist with very steep inclines. Most of the vineyards are terraced. The vine ages range from 30 years up to over 80. The wine ferments naturally in stainless steel.
