Jacky Navarre is a 4th generation distiller on an 11 hectare estate in Grande Champagne. The red grapes used in the production of this Pineau are from his 32 ares of Merlot and 23 ares of Cabernet Franc. Unusual for the production of Pineau, Jacky uses 6 year old Cognac (technically XO) to fortify the juice. The mistelle is then aged in casks for 15 years.
